Ekikrit Friendship Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. was established in Jiri, a picturesque and beautiful town in the Dolakha district of Bagmati province. This cooperative is the most trusted financial service provider of the local people within its working area. Friendship Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. was established in BS 2048 Chaitra 03. It has been operating as Ekikrit Friendship Savings and Credit cooperative society Ltd after merging with 9 other cooperatives on 01 Magh 2071. After successfully merging 9 cooperatives, It continued merging programs and up to now 16 cooperatives had been merged successfully. The organization is currently providing services to its members from 16 service centers including the main branch.

Ekikrit Friendship Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd. is a community based member centered cooperative. This organization has been playing a leading role in meeting the financial needs of the common people in the rural areas.

The most capable in the field of work, with the aim of “positively changing the economic, social, cultural and environmental life of the members by mobilizing the scattered capital in the society and building a large social capital, using modern technology at competitive prices and mobilizing the members through fast and quality services.” This organization, which provides services to a large and maximum number of members, is currently fulfilling the financial needs of more than 10,000 members.

Ekikrit Friendship saving and credit cooperative society ltd. established in Jiri municipality, known as the Switzerland of Nepal. It is a community based cooperative that has been conducting member centered activities. The organization has been providing quality services by producing financial service based on the interests and needs of the members, embracing the principles and value of cooperative.

The chief executive officer’s main responsibility is to increase the business capacity of the organization and lead the management by increasing the level of member service by implementing the by law (regulations) Institutional policies and decisions of the board of directors.
